Francis Harper Papers, . 1902-1968

Francis Harper, native of Massachusetts, was a zoologist and author affiliated with many universities. He was the author of (1927). He retired in Chapel Hill, N.C. typescript, 16 pages, including transcriptions of four letters and Harper's extensive notes on Thompson, Thompson's brother, Maurice, and Okefenokee Swamp, Ga. Also included is an original letter, 1913, from W. H. Thompson to Harper, drafts of four letters from Harper to Thompson, a typed draft of by W. H. Thompson, a photograph relating to Thompson, and other correspondence of Harper.
